Foreign delegations participation up in Mashad exhibition

Managing Director of Mashhad International Exhibition Company said that last Iranian year was important in attracting foreign trade delegations to participate in Mashad International Exhibition.

Mohammad Javad Hamid said on Monday that Mashad International Exhibition Company became a member of Iran’s joint Chambers with France, Italy, Australia, Turkey, India and Germany.

Hamid said that as a result of these measures, the number of visitors and foreign participants, businessmen, experts and officials’ presence in technical exhibitions were considerable.

He added that 14 foreign delegations from Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, Italy, Germany, India, Turkmenistan, Belgium, Russia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Austria, Poland and Australia participated in Mashad International Exhibition.

Hamid noted that different companies from mentioned countries participated in fields such as medical, printing and packaging, agriculture, fittings, hoteling, furniture, home appliances, flower and plant, industry, food industries, construction, leather and car.

He reiterated that 54 domestic, technical and international exhibitions were held in Mashad International Exhibition last year.

Total number of 3,200,000 people visited domestic, technical and international exhibitions last year, he said.

Hamid noted that 30 product and service supplying exhibitions in domestic, technical and international fields are held annually in Razavi Khorasan Province.

Mashad International Exhibition Company was incorporated in 1998; it is one of the leading companies in Middle East and leader of the exhibition in Iran.

Mashad Exhibition has been a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition industry (UFI), the world’s largest exhibition organization, since 2005.

It is the first exhibition center in Iran that has gained the certificate of Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 since 2005.
